The best way to feed flightless fruit flies is to always have 1 producing culture and 1 fresh culture. By staging your cultures you will never run out of flies to feed your animals. Yes, you can purchase a producing culture every two weeks however your shipping cost will add up over time! By ordering this bundle you will only need to order flies once per month (If that!).

You will receive 1 freshly started culture and 1 culture that is at least 2 weeks old. You will be able to feed your animals as soon as your box arrives and by the time your producing culture is used up the fresh one will be ready to feed off.

D. Hydei are roughly 1/8” in size and are GREAT for Frogs, Chameleons, Fish, Insects or Anything that needs to feed in small insects.

Cultures should be kept at room temperature (mid 70’s) and at least 60% humidity for the best results.
